The Internet is now growing faster than ever before. Holt itself now has broadband offering high-speed access to the Internet opening many doors to businesses and individuals alike to utilise the exposure and information that is available on the Internet.

Many towns, cities and indeed even villages now have their spot on the Internet with a website that shows off their place to the rest of the world. Whilst there is sparadic text about Holt on various web sites Holt does not have its own stand-alone website. These websites are often made by people who are proud of their town and have a passion and a desire to complete this task, sadly however the lack of design knowledge leads to a site that doesn’t really carry across that passion and desire and cant be found on any search engines. A site that cant be found may as well not exist which is a great shame for the author and the town or village.

We believe its time for Holt to reveal itself in full glory to the Internet community and tell the world why they need to come and visit. Also there is a growing need to share information in the local community, particulary with broadband now available in the area residents and many more people now turn to the Internet for information at a click of a button. The difference with this community site being that the entire site would be designed by a professional web designer who lives in and cares for Holt!

What information will be available on the website?

The site will be have 5 main sections these being Tourism, Community, Business, Forum & Links, as seen at the top of this page. The 5 main sections will be split into subsections, you can see these by hovering your mouse pointer over the main titles.

As you can see the website will cover all aspects to appeal not only to a potential visiting tourist but also to local residents who now utilise the Internet more.

We want you to be part of this project and not to miss out on having your business starring on the website. There are various options for you to choose from starting from a simple registration and small text insertion right up to sponsoring a complete page.
